National and international employees
and volunteers from across the country and from around the world work
together as one team to care for and educate the poor.
This truly is a no-nonsense, cost-effective program that
seeks to break the poor out of poverty; of the current 14
full-time, paid employees in the program, 8 are graduates of the
program themselves. As teachers, counselors, a
receptionist, doctor, and administrative and maintenance
personnel, these Guatemalans form the program's core. They
are enhanced and complimented by the program's national
and international volunteers, on whom the program depends.
